The city of Delhi is incomplete without its glorious history. Established in 1947 Ved films is one of the most promising, prominent & prestigious production houses in the cityof Delhi. The production house is placed in South-Extension Part II. It is not only a legacy but also a part of Delhi’s culture steeped in history. It is one of the longest lived production houses, in existence for more than 63 years.
Ved films was set up by Shri Ved Parkash. Besides his immense talent with camera, he was a fabulous Director. It was his dream & vision to start the production house,at a time when Indian cinema was still in its infancy and television yet to be born. He was one of the first Cinematographer to work for foreign News Agencies. It was his great ability as a Cinematographer that earned him the British Academy Award for his coverage on Mahatma Gandhi’s funeral in the year 1948 . It still remains one of the pioneering works in the archives of British Paramount News, London.Ved Films since its inception has been unfailingly delivering many path-breaking programmes from different disciplines. Today the mantle of Ved Films has been taken over by Rajiv Parkash who has excelled in making Documentaries, Serials, Commercials, Corporate films and Soaps.
Today Ved Films is equipped with all kinds of modern amenities and facilities required for films and television, catering to international level of technical quality. Despite the film city, Ved Films stands a multi faceted production house an institution of sorts, revered, spanning across all areas of television and film production.
